I knew it was going to be difficult driving into New York.
We were doing fine, until we were literally two miles from our hotel, and then the Tom Tom took us into the heart of Queens.

We arrived in Woodstock for my 29th birthday, by accident rather than design.
There is a massive cottage industry built up around the festival which took place 40 years ago, with loads of hippy shops, psychic pet readings, and a general chilled out vibe.

Breakfast at Petit Hotel was very tasty; the fruit and pastries were always super fresh.

Went out to take some night photos of Montreal. The results weren’t great, maybe because of drinking cheap (but expensive) red wine.

We arrived in Montreal yesterday and first impressions are very good – it’s a really nice city.
We’re staying at a boutique hotel called Petit Hotel, with a discount in exchange for photos, video and an article.

We drove for most of today, from Niagara Falls to the northern most part of New York state.
Fairly boring, but we ended up at realy nice place. We’re in a tiny wooden cottage in a place called Pinehurst, which beats the bogstandard roadside Motel we were expecting to stop at.

We arrived in Toronto a couple of nights ago. It’s been a complete change of pace from the relative wilderness of Bruce Mines, in northern Ontario.
On the drive down we saw a black bear – it ran across the road in front of us!
